The Environmental Working Group (EWG), a leading environmental health research and advocacy organization, seeks a Copywriter for its Washington, D.C., office.
Since 1993, EWG has shined a spotlight on outdated legislation, harmful agricultural practices and industry loopholes that pose a risk to our health and the health of our environment.

EWG is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our Digital team. The team is responsible for growing, cultivating and converting EWG’s vast online audience, including nearly 30 million website visitors annually. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and persuasive content for various digital media, including the website, email campaigns and social media channels. Your words will drive engagement, educate our audience, and inspire action toward our mission of protecting health and the environment.

Experience in a nonprofit or newsroom environment preferred.
Location: Washington, D.C., office.
Benefits: Annual salary range of $60,000 - $80,000. Salary is commensurate with experience. EWG offers fully paid, excellent health care, paid parental leave and a tax-deferred 403(b) plan, including matched contributions. It’s a casual, growing office with more than 40 engaging co-workers.
