About the Role:

We are currently seeking a mid-level experienced CPM Scheduler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the scheduling aspects of our transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and transit systems across New Jersey and New York. The Scheduler will be instrumental in developing, analyzing, and maintaining various project schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Development and Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive design and/or construction schedules for various projects using Primavera P6 software. These schedules will include all phases from design to completion.
  • Contractor Schedule Review: Analyze and review contractor-provided schedules for feasibility, risk, conflicts, and delays. Provide feedback and recommendations for schedule improvements.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting : Regularly monitor project progress against the schedule. Identify any deviations and suggest corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Collaboration with Project Teams: Coordinate with project team members, engineers, and contractors to ensure that schedules accurately reflect the scope of work and project timelines.
  • Schedule Integration: Integrate multiple project schedules into a comprehensive program schedule to provide a holistic view of all ongoing projects.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed schedule reports, including critical path analysis, progress updates, and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and project management principles.
  • Experience working on highway, bridge, and transit projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
