Summary:
The EKG Tech is part of the overall health care team responsible for Cardiology related services. Responsible for performance of EKG. This includes the completion of high-quality tests, report generation, record keeping and all related support activities. Assists the physician and other health care professionals in related technical areas as needed. Functions independently with minimal or no supervision and, may coordinate others, as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
* Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Technical; Preferred - Technical - Electrocardiography (EKG)

Credentials:
* Required - BLS (Basic Life Support)

Experience:
* Electrocardiogram (EKG)
* Related Field

Location: Morton Plant Hospital - Downtown Clearwater, FL

Status: Part Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6a-230p, 11a-730p, 230p-11p

Shift: Shift 4

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
