**Restaurant Supervisor**

Position Summary & Purpose: Assist the Restaurant Manager with restaurant operations and supervision of food and beverage staff.
Essential Functions:
Clock in/ Clock out on two devices
Know your work schedule and follow it with a high degree of reliability.
Identify and delegate responsibilities to shift leaders and to staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is constantly achieved.
Implement new company policies, and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff.
Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide coaching and feedback to manager and staff and assess performance on and ongoing basis.
Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guest to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
Utilize protective equipment, when applicable.
Promptly report accidents, injuries, property damage or loss to supervisor.
Promptly report substandard (unsafe) conditions to manager.
Inform management promptly of any work-related problems or guest complaints.
Attend shift meeting on time.
Continue to learn and grow in your position.
Perform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management.
Train and coach staff on guest services principles and practices.
Monitor and maintain Upserve POS system.
Assist in new menu implementation.
Assist in any areas of the restaurant when staffing constraints require
Identify employee weaknesses and retrain as necessary
Assist person(s) with a disability.
Oversee reservations.
Maintain high level of sanitation as prescribed by local health department and company standards.
Perform inventory when necessary.
Monitor inventory to ensure that stock is rotated properly to avoid loss due to spoilage and ensure reusable items are returned to stock. Follow FIFO priciples.
Assist and implement promotional programs on an ongoing basis.
Assist with coordinating restaurant and operations with general manager, chef, other resort managers and outside vendors.
Answer telephones; take reservations; answer questions pertaining to the operation.
Review and evaluate restaurant employees on a regular basis as designated by company policy.
Maintain and disseminate to staff effective knowledge of methods for compliance with laws governing sales of intoxicants.
Oversee handling of cash and credit card transactions.
Requisition necessary supplies.
Maintain controls and pars as prescribed by management.
Write and file reports regarding activities.
Be a team player: Help out fellow employees when possible
