Our client is a premier global asset manager and early champion of precious metals investing. With over $29.4B AUM, they are a leading provider of access to precious metals and critical materials investment strategies for more than 250,000 clients globally.

Founded in 1981, they have seen steady and rapid growth over the past 40+ years, broadening their investment strategies while remaining focused on their core strengths. With a decades-long foundation in physical metals and minerals and deep relationships in the mining industry, their critical materials investments now include the world's largest physical uranium trust and mining equity ETFs focused on the global transition to clean energy.

They are seeking a highly motivated full-time Senior Website Developer to join their team in either their Midtown Manhattan or Darien, CT office. This position will spearhead "big picture" strategic plans with regard to the company's digital presence, including site usability, navigation, content management, adoption of new technologies, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, customizing, and maintaining the company's three websites using Umbraco CMS
• Collaborating with designers to ensure the translation of third-party designs to web visuals
• Implementing robust features by writing clean, scalable, and easily maintainable code
• Addressing any issues related to the Umbraco backend and database
• Upgrading the Umbraco platform as necessary and ensuring compatibility with all plugins
• Offering support for any front-end or CMS-related issues
• Staying updated with the latest trends in Umbraco development

Technical Qualifications:

• Expert in web development and working with a CMS platform - strong preference to Umbraco 10 CMS or higher working with templates and embedding wireframes from website designs
• 5-10 years of experience with digital media/IT, preferably within the financial services asset management, mutual fund or ETF arena
• Four-year college/university or equivalent education and experience
• Proficient with C#, .NET and .NET Core programming
• Proficient in Database SQL and SQL Management Studio
• A strong professional interest and/or opinions in current online trends and technologies, and a self-starter approach to enrolling in continuing education and training
• Expert in front-end development (JQuery, JS, CSS, SCSS, Foundation Framework)
• Deep understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with database design and integration for Umbraco projects
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of best practices for site performance and optimization in Umbraco

• The ability to troubleshoot and resolve unexpected design and programming issues quickly and efficiently, and to work both in a team and independently on high priority assignments is essential
