The Website Business Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic and tactical direction of our owner facing products and the creation of innovative new experiences that aim to revolutionize our business. Your primary focus will be on driving the development, launch, and continuous improvement of our owner website, which is integral to our company's future success.

In this position, you will take charge of setting the strategic roadmap for our web channel and introducing new consumer-facing strategies. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with a variety of business, technology, digital, and functional partners. Your focus will extend beyond the digital realm, encompassing the innovation, design, and development of new experiences inspired by existing physical resort experiences and the launch of new vacation experiences in both physical and virtual realms.

You will be responsible for understanding our customer needs and ensuring our web channel meets these needs. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our owner services and customer service departments to identify potential product defects and gather customer feedback for product enhancements. How You'll Shine:

Strategic Ownership and Alignment
  • Serves as business owner of the owner websites, ensuring websites are meeting the intended needs of the business and owners; ensures websites are performing as anticipated; ensures sites are meeting our business strategy goals.
  • Gains alignment with other Wyndham website owners to ensure E2E owner and user experience is cohesive across the web experience.

Analytics, Performance Monitoring and Optimization
  • Understands complex site analytics and their impact on site performance. They extract conclusions from metrics and analyze them to develop and prioritize roadmap features.
  • Communicates website outcomes to business leaders to enable strategic decision-making.
  • Coordination between business teams and organizational change management to ensure features released are business ready.
  • Conducts user testing on developed features and ensures they meet business requirements.
  • Identifies cross-business impacts and accounts for dependencies within product roadmap and strategy.
  • Ensures all features have aligned KPIs that tie to the business strategy and overall business goals.
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of new site features and functions. This person must work with multiple teams of varied skillsets to ensure each step of the work is executed.
  • Monitors social media, owner forums, product reporting, and other methods to ensure features are meeting business objectives.

Product Management
  • Develops, manages, and prioritizes web product roadmap.
  • Ensures roadmap includes the highest value-add features supporting the business.

Stakeholder Communication and Management
  • Owns communication with stakeholders and manages regular cadence of meetings with stakeholders, laying out requirements and concerns and managing expectations. Acts as a communications bridge between business stakeholders and technical resources.

Examples of Projects You'll Work On
  • Creating standard website customer-facing metrics to better understand our users.
  • Creating personalized vacation recommendations to our users as part of their booking experience
  • Developing integrated web to resort vacation experiences that enhance our user's resort stay.
  • Embedding generative AI solutions on our website to help answer questions and improve the customer experience.
  • Developing and prioritizing an innovation roadmap that leverages cutting-edge features to improve the overall user experience from searching a vacation and planning travel, to staying at the resorts.

What You'll Bring:
  • BA/BS Marketing, Business, Computer Science or Engineering. Technical undergraduate education with business/product management professional experience will be considered.
  • Preference to MBA and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in business analyst or Digital products within the hospitality, ecommerce, or technology industry
  • At least 1-2 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • Certified Product Owner training (preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma certification a plus
  • PMP or other project management certifications a plus
  • Microsoft Suite
  • Experience creating product roadmaps and development web strategies
  • Experience leading cross functional team to aligned goals
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to synthesize complex user data into actionable user experience goals
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups
  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, who may have competing interests
  • Time and project schedule management skills required to consistently meet deadlines and ensure preparedness for launch or implementation of products, services, or initiatives
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
  • Adobe Experience Management tools
  • Atlassian project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Content Management System (CMS)

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
