I have worked as an occupational therapist for the past three years since graduating from Seton Hall University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2017. In these years, I have worked with children and young adults in the school setting with a wide variety of diagnoses and skill levels, alongside other related service providers and educational professionals. I also have fieldwork experience at an outpatient facility, performing evaluations, developing intervention plans, and documenting treatment sessions for adults and older adults with diagnoses such as CVA, upper extremity pain/weakness, arthritis, and cognitive impairments. I was able to incorporate activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living into treatment sessions to foster functional skills ultimately independence within my clients’ lives.
Melissa Prestipino, PT, DPT
Dr. Prestipino received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. She attended Touro College and University System, where she earned her master’s degree in physical therapy. She obtained her doctor of physical therapy degree from Simmons University. Constantly up-to-date on the most progressive techniques available, Dr. Prestipino strives to get her patients feeling their best. She has also completed certifications in athletic training and mat pilates. She has been practicing as a physical therapist for the last two decades. When not working, she loves to dance. She has a strong passion for treating dancers and also promotes dance injury prevention.
Meghan Miller, PT, MSPT
She completed her bachelor’s degree at Lock Haven University. She earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Ms. Miller is available for exams and consultations at Therapeutics Unlimited. With over 15 years of experience, she is renowned for providing thorough medical care for the treatment of a host of conditions, which include foot problems, back problems, spondylolysis, and herniated disks. She works towards building a better healthcare environment along with the help of her experienced staff. Ms. Miller understands that speedy relief is a highly valuable aspect of pain and mobility management and ensures that recuperation can be brought about quickly through her skilled therapeutic techniques. She believes in providing medical care that suits her patient’s needs.
Gary Mascilak, PT, DC
Gary Mascilak is a licensed physical therapist magna cum laude graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, and a licensed chiropractic physician summa cum laude graduate of National University of Illinois. He has over 30 years experience treating orthopedic and sports injuries, utilizing the latest rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques. He has a particular interest in athletic performance enhancement and provides screens with local teams and CrossFit gyms to optimize performance and minimize injury risk.
