  3. Vitamin Absorption- Some Vitamins like A, D, E, and K are not naturally soluble and therefore require fats to be digested properly.
  4. Cellular Structure- It also ensures cell integrity by helping it manage waste and facilitate the efficient exchange of nutrients.
  5. Insulation and Protection- Our body needs to maintain temperature and provide protection to vital organs. This is possible only because we have adipose tissues.
  6. Hormone Regulation- Fat is essential for the production of cholesterol which in turn aids the production of testosterone and estrogen, protecting you from hormonal imbalances.
  7. Immune System Support– Medium Chain Triglycerides found in coconut oil and some other oils are important to boost the system response to pathogens and infections.
  8. Inflammation Management- Fats are also essential to release anti-oxidants into the body and this protects your organs from damage or swelling.
